I have a folder named "John." It has a subfolder also named "John",
which. in turn, has subfolders with various names.

What I would like to do is to make the second "John" the main folder and
get rid of the now main folder named "John." Is this possible?

Hi,

Sure, just grab the sub-folder named john and drag it out to the same root
level as the one you wish to remove. Before you do this though, right-click
the main john folder and rename it.

Take everything out of the second John folder (the subfolder) and put it in
the first John folder. Then delete the subfolder.
