How do I protect a folder on a shared drive using MSWord 2000?
I am trying to restrict access to the folder containing a series of documents.

This is not a Word function. If your version of Windows supports it, and if
you have the proper access rights, you can assign permissions to a folder by
using Windows Explorer. Go to Start > Help and ask about "set, view, change,
or remove file and folder permissions".
