Hi. I recently reinstalled WindowsXP. Before my reinstall, I had all my
folders set to display "details". Since my reinstall, when I go to the
control panel and select "folder options", then "view", the "apply to all
folders " button is grayed out. Any suggestions?

Apply what to all folders. Answer that and you'll work it out.
Go through a folder (e.g. My Documents)to Tools/My Documents making sure you have the
folder in Details view when you do it.

Thanks a lot. It worked.
