Folder names disappeared

T

Tom Brown

When using the Windows Explorer, with the View set to Thumbnails, I no
longer see the Folder name. If I switch View to Tiles, Icons, List, or
Details, it shows just fine.

This happened when I accidentally Selected All when double-clicking a
Thumbnail in a folder.

Thanks,

Tom

Well, maybe I had a gigantic Brain Fa*t. It appears that I somehow changed
my default view to Thumbnails from Icons and apparently, Icons is the
default and the one I am used to. Somehow I had never noticed that before.
Anyway, resetting to Icons puts me back to "normal" .... in a manner of
speaking.

Sorry to stir up anything.

If you press SHIFT whilst selecting Thumbnail view, you can toggle
filenames/folder name on and off.
