I have a folder that I cannot get rid of. I cannot delete it under Explorer
or command prompt. It has zero size, no create date, access date, or folder
name when you display the folder properties. There is also no security tab
with which to see who the owner is or take ownship. Anyone have any (or know
of any) tools that could be used to remove this folder? I suspect that
something may have become corrupt in the directory. The file system is NTFS.

Thanks, Mike Lawson

It is a user created folder on the D: drive of our server in the shared
'Data' folder. My assumption is that you may be thinking that this is a
system or hidden folder. There may be a non-displayable character at the end
of the folder name because when highlighted in Explorer the highlight
extends one character past the actual displayed characters in the folder
name. But I should still be able to delete it in Explorer and should see
that is has all of it's properties - which it doesn't. Hope this helps some
more.

Thanks, Mike Lawson
