Hi
i have backed up files from my pc to cd and i want to be able to make a list
of whats on the cd for easy finding later, is there any way or program that
can make a list (in word/excel, etc) so that i can print a list of whats
within the disc and whats in each folder. at the moment i'm taking a screen
shot and putting that in the case but if there lots of folders this
genereates lots of prints.
thanks

Hi,
I just catalogued my about 100 CDs with 'cathy' from www.nonags.com
(disc cataloging).
It is very small, very fast and a real charm. But there is no print
option.
You will see the complete catalogue and a tree of each CD.

Hi,

Open a command prompt (start/run cmd), go to the folder of choice or the
root of the CD.

Run "dir> file.txt". This will create a text file of the contents of the
folder that you can open in notepad for printing or saving.

If you wish to add the contents of the subdirectories, run "dir
<drive><folder> /s> file.txt".

You may find this useful:

If you head to google.com and search on "free directory printer", you will
also find many other useful tools.
