Folder Deletion

I had uploaded music from DJ Shadows cd titled "Endtroducing.." where I
moved the .wav files to My Music. I then installed MusicMatch Jukebox,
moved my music library to a different location, and saw that a folder
titled "fck" was left in place. Within THAT folder was a blank folder
titled "Endtroducing.." with nothing in it. I attempted to delete the
folder but I keep getting the error "Cannot Delete File or Folder" with
the subcontents "Location does not exist... blah, blah, blah..." In
safe mode, I get the same error.
I then downloaded a program called "deltree.exe," attempted to use it
in DOS where it appears to have success but obviously does not.
Now in DOS I get the error "C:\PROGRA~1\Symantec\ (***i forget the
first exact letters& numbers listed here) ...EVNT1.DLL" This is
happening even after I have taken out Norton Internet Security. By the
way, I had to force uninstall all Norton Internet Security files to
remove the program. And now cannot re-install NIS. Any suggestions as
to how to permanently rid this folder problem & re-install NIS?

The Symantec website provides tools to completely remove Norton
products. One day they might actually fix their uninstallers. We live in
hope...

I figured out a command syntax that deletes a lot of
useless/undelete-able folders in DOS (Start>Run>cmd>OK). It's " RD /s
/q <name of desired deletion file or folder> ." So I got rid of my
troublesome folder with that... so yeah...
I still got the problem of ridding NIS 2006 from my computer. I've
looked up the site for the tool to do so. What is the "exact" name of
it? I ask because, if you were to see for yourself, you'd see just a
list of known virus/spyware/worm removal tools there for individual
download. The tool that I did use to force uninstall Norton Internet
Security (NIS) is called "RnisUPG.exe." Was this your intentional tool
of suggestion?
Maybe with the craptacular folder deleted, I can finally install NIS
again. I'll reboot, attempt, and if no go, I'll be back on here to
complain once again!

I think RnisUPG applied to older versions (2003 and earlier).
I believe the correct tool is SymNRT. It can be easily found
by searching support for "nis2006", but here's the full link
(combine into one line if wrapped).
