folder backup

There are two personal folders open. I backup one folder. I close outlook and
then open outlook again. The second personal folder get lost. Where can I
find the second personal folder. I did .pst file search and was not able to
find it.

please be sure that you have activate this option
Windows explorer | TOOLS | FOLDER OPTIONS | VIEW
Show all hidden Files and Folders.
The default path to your pst file ist
C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook
