Folder Background image?

In windows 2000 i could change the background of specific folders by using
the "customize this folder" option in the "View" menu but now it only seems
to allow me to change the picture on the folder display icon instead the
background to the folder itself. I know it can be done becasue backgrounds i
had already set up in 2000 were brought over when i updated to XP. Help?
Thank you
