Fn, back to letters!

In my laptop the numbers in the uiojklm keys are working as the main
function. Ihave to press Fn and the letter at the same time to be able to
write. How do I get it back to normal?
 
There'll be a key labelled something like 'NumLk'. There's usually a light
also that shows if you switched on the 'numeric keypad' block.
 
I would suggest searching thru the laptop's user manual. If you don't have
it any longer, they are generally available on the manufacturer's website.
