I got a new comp about six months ago. When I first set it up the floppy drive worked fine, but when I tried to use it for the first time in several months I got an error code that said:
A:\ Not Availabl
No ID Address Mark was found on the floppy disk
I've tried several disks--including ones that I used before with no problem, and which work on other computers--so it's not that they're not formatted (the computer also says it can't finish formatting the disk when I tried to do that). I also uninstalled the driver and went into BIOS to make sure that the computer was set up properly. The computer recognizes the drive and the device manager says that everything is working properly.
Any ideas?
