floppy drive

I installed a floppy drive on my computer. Icant get to work I get a error devive might be in stalled on your system. Windows cannot use the device until I install & config the right drive. If device is listed in the hardward compatibly list (HCL) a driver is uselly includedin windows. My question is how do i install,config & locate the driver. PLEASE HELP
