Floppy drive does not show up in control panel

Runing XP home SP1 - the floppy drive shows installed with no conflicts in system - but does not show up in my computer. All other drives show up except the floppy or "A" drive. Anyone know how to get it show up in control panel?
 
Go in to your BIOS and make sure the floppy drive is enabled. Have you done
any work on your PC as in opening the case of the PC? You may want to check
the power cable on the floppy drive.

Thanks for the help - the floppy power cable was unplugged - all fixed and working fine!
