floppy drive does not refresh

i have a problem that my floppy drive shows the content
of only the first floppy I use in the drive thereafter
even if I use the floppy with different content (files)
my floppy drive do not refresh and shows the same
content, i.e., that of the first floppy used. please help
me troubleshoot this problem. I am using WindowXP
professional edition

You may have already tried this but after you have input a new floppy disc,
if you are trying to access the files and in the open file dialog box it
still shows the contents of the prior disc, pressing <F5> usually will force
a refresh.

i have tried all types of refresh options it still does
not refresh there is some problem with the software i
have also done chechdisk and other commands and restarted
computer but to no avail please help
