floppy disc not opening

Sir,

I copied my files on 3.5" floppy disc from my computer in
India, where i was using WINDOWS XP.

I came to USA on short visit, here my floppy is not
opening on windows-2000 system. Computer is giving
message " Dicc "A" not accessable or disc is not formatted"

I have lost data from my source computer. Pl suggest
solution.

Try using a different floppy drive. The head in the
floppy might be out of alignment, which is causing the
read error.
