Floppy and CD-Rom drives not working

Matt

My 2 CD-Rom/Burner drives and my floppy drive recently
stopped working. My floppy drive says "A:\ is not
accesible. Incorrect function." when I double click on
the floppy drive in my computer.

One of my CD-Rom drives says the exact same thing as the
floppy drive and the other one opens as if it is opening
the information on the CD, but it shows that there is no
data on the CD even when I know there is data on the CD.

Any suggestions would be very helpful and appreciated.

Thanks

Try removing the drives in your device manager and restarting. Windows
should reinstall the drivers.

Thanks for the tip Jon, but I tried that and the problem
still persists, except now both CD drives are saying
they're not accessible.

What software do you use to burn your CDs?

Is Norton Autoprotect interfering?
