Floopy Drive is missing

My floopy drive is missing from my computer, in device manager I get an error saying code 28 the driver for this device is not install. The driver name is NEC USB UF000X I went to www.nec.com but I could find the driver. If I reinstall windows will that fix my problem. Please reply. Thank you very much.

Verify you have the latest driver installed for your device. You may also be
able to resolve this issue by removing the device in device manager and going
through the Add New Hardware Wizard in control panel.
