flickers/jumpy when scrolling website, or moving window around on desktop.

I just installed XP, still working out the kinks. When I scroll a website, or move any window around on my desktop, it doesn't pace correctly. In other words, the thing I am moving flickers and is very jumpy when its being moved around. It's very irritating to the eye... I've tried troubleshooting, and messing around with the display/mouse settings on the control panel, and can't seem to fix the problem. Please help.

Have you downloaded and installed the latest XP driver for your video card
from the Mfg.?

Okay, I have an ATI Radeon... I hadn't re-installed the drivers for it yet because when I put the CD in, it kept wanting to install for Windows 2000 for some reason. So I went to the site and DLed the drivers for XP... gonna reboot now and see it if works.

Hi R.T.,

That is to say, the "manufacturer" of your video card. If you don't know
exactly which card you have, you can download and run Aida32 from the
following link and it will tell you which card, along with a lot of other
useful information about your PC. It is free, take the "Enterprise" version,
install and run it. Then go to the appropriate web-site and download the
driver you need.

Thanks Shenan,

That should have been Mfr. but, it seems he got the job done.

Cheers, JAX
