Flickering screen, Jumping cursor

The screen flickers and the cursors jumps back up to the first field even
when I am not keying. Access 2002
When I am keying this causes me to type over previously typed text.

not many details to go on, but often if you have a form loaded that has a
timer event, and some code is being run, then you get symptoms like you
mention.

do all your databases do this environ...or just one?

does this occur on all computers....or just one?

If this is happening with only one database..then I would check for any
forms that has timer code.
