Hi,

Why does the control panel extension (*.cpl) file
Flexlm.cpl (a licensing program) work in the control panel
of Windows 2000 pro but not in Windows XP? I can't
seem to run the program in XP.

Any help appreciated.

Hi,

I've been installing a program called ADS 1.5 on my Windows
2000 pro system, and it seems to work fine.

I tried to install it onto a Windows XP system, and for some
reason, the FlexLM licensing file doesn't seem to work. This FlexLM
is a control panel extension program (*.cpl) that you can paste in the
"system32" folder of windows 2000, and it will show up when you open
the control panel.

However, it doesn't appear or seem to open in Windows XP
for some reason.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
