Flashing Tab Control

Hi, I hope you can help me out. I have a form with two tab controls on it.
I did this to keep information separated better for me. I placed the tab
controls on top of each other and am using buttons to select the one that is
visible or invisible at the any particular time.

Here's my problem. When I switch between the tab controls, the tabs start
flashing and it is very disturbing.

Any suggestions would be very helpful.
