What do you mean by "linked" mailbox?

Hi Gordon - taken me 10 mins to find my way back to this! The link in my
notification email didn't work. Anyway, firstly I need to explain that I am
a non-techie! Second, we had a company come in and setup our main pc and
laptop to both be able to access the same Outlook mailbox (they also
attempted to give both access to the same Calendar, but that has caused so
many problems we only use it on the main pc now!). I was wondering if the
latter might be the reason for the flashing egg timer on the laptop when in
Outlook i.e. it keeps 'looking' for something?

Do yourself a BIG favour and ditch the horrible web interface. Use a news
reader instead.

It's actually not very easy to set up Outlook to share data between
different machines without using Exchange Server - without knowing exactly
what they did, it's going to be quite difficult for anyone here to propose
any solution....

I understand. I shall probably leave it then Gordon, I don't go into Outlook
very often so I can live with it...just! Thanks very much for your time
anyway. Regards

What type of account are you using, if not Exchange?
