Flashing CMD Prompt

I have a flashing CMD prompt and window that opens and closes at a high
flash rate.

It is executing \windows\system32\cmd.exe over and over again.

I have rebooted twice and restored to an earlier point in time with no help.

Any ideas?

Nevermind.

It was a bad USB connection to an HP printer. Cycled printer power off/on
and it reinitialized the printer.
