Flashedrive transfer of Old Outlook Address book

How do I incorporate an old address book transfered to my laptop via a
flashdrive to the new Outlook address book on the new laptop?
 
Use the import/export command on the File menu.

Thank you but I did try that.. it said it finished and then there was nothing
in the contacts.
 
As this is a Microsoft Access database newsgroup there's not much more I
can do to help except to suggest (1) look in Help, (2) search the
Microsoft Knowledgebase at http://support.microsoft.com, and if that
fails ask in an Outlook newsgroup.
