Flash media for Win 2000

Flash Media by Macromedia will not load on my desktop running WIN 2k pro. Is
this a known common problem? Have tried everything we know of. The odd
thing is, is that we used to have it working fine. It got inopped when we
did a adware removal installation and now can not get it back. We think?
Any help appreciated
