Flash Drive Stopped Working

I just started using a 512 Jump Drive to backup my Quicken files. It worked
fine the first time, but when I reconnected it a few days later my PC didn't
recognize it (there was/is no icon on "My Computer" and the wizards also
don't see it). The USB port still works with my camera and the flash drive
works on my wife's computer at her office. What's up with this?

Right click on My Computer and select Manage. On the following screen,
select Disk Management. Does it now appear on the right hand side of the
screen? If so, what does it say.

Before you dsiconnect the flash drive, you need to stop the drive with the
"Safely Remove Hardware" icon that was shown in the system tray (near the
time). If you do not, then the system might not be able to recognise the
drive the next time.

When I select "Manage", I see only my C drive and CD drives listed
