I posted my problem under 'Flash Drive not recognized second time' and
thanks for all who contributed to the solution - Remove/Eject .

Before that I tried my own experiment and probably lost the flash drive
of the camcorder: I formated it and tried to use it in my camcorder. It
does not work and says that the drive needs formatting. Tried to format
it in windows it says that:
'The volume does not contain a recognized file system, make sure that
all required file system drivers are loaded and the volume is not corrupted'
Don't know what to do?
Please guide.

Digital media used in cameras, including camcorders, should always be
formatted in the camera only. Windows tend to format these
incorrectly in a different format that most cameras can not use.
Windows tend to format these as FAT32 but must cameras require FAT.
