Flash drive problem

After I installed a "virtual" drive to read ISO disk images, I could no
longer connect flash drives or pocket drives to my computer. I uninstalled
the software for the virtual drive, but this did not help.

I have tried going to "My Computer" and Hard Drive management and assigning
a drive letter to the flashdrive, and I can open the drive from that window,
but it never shows up in My Computer so I can actually do somehting with it.

It also appears to connect when I plug it into the USB port - it shows up on
the "safely remove hardware" but I just cannot get it to show up anywhere
that I can actually open it (other than the Hard Disk Management screen).

I am out of ideas.... This is a big problem for me as now when someone
wants data from me or I need it from them, the flash drives do not work.

Any further help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi and thanks. I have tried that at least 10 times, and the drive letter
appears in the Disk Management Window, but never appears in "My Computer" or
in Windows Explorer, as I said in my initial email... I have no idea what
there is left to do...

Thanks

That seemed to have worked, and yes, it was daemon tools....
Thank you very much.
