Flash Animation

I have just got XP and someone has told me that I can now
do very fancy animation things that could not be done on
Powerpoint 97 - they said something about flash?? but I
can't find anything about this in the help menu.

I thought flash was a different pakage? Do I need an add-
in or something?

http://www.flashgeek.com has good instructions for how to insert Flash into
PPT.

Most likely they were referring to the fact that PPT now supports a much
broader range of animations and you can accomplish some very dramatic
effects - similar to Flash (or at least Flash style animations). In the
Samples section and Tutorials section of my site you can get some ideas of
