I'd like to be able to capture and save some of the various little
flash animations that appear on different websites, in the same way
that I can right-click and save jpgs. Can anybody refer me to a piece
of software that could help me do this?
thanx
If you're using IE, this program can work for you:
http://www.browsertools.net/Flash-Saving-Plugin/
I'm using version 1.1.2, and the current version is 1.2. The site says
that the program is still free.
If you're using Firefox, then you can type "about:cache" into the
location field and look through the entries to see if you can find the
one ending in ".swf" that you're looking for. If you find it, click on
that entry, then on the page that follows right click on that link again
(it's all that will be listed) and save the file to your hard drive.
I don't know why it's so much harder in Firefox to look through cached
items than it used to be in Mozilla, but that's the way it is.
