Flagging problem

Hi,

I work for a Hotel chain's reservation office and we have an account for reservations. Since there are 10 reservations agents, the account is configured as an IMAP to enable all agents to view incoming mails.

Normally if an agent is handling a mail, he/she will flag it and this will be known to others, recently the flagging doesn't seem to work properly as a mail that has been flagged is not reflected to the other agents. This causes confusion among agents.

Using MS Office Outlook 2003 SP2. Please advice.

I suggest you use a more robust feature of Outlook - Categories. Show the
Category column in the folder (turn on the Advanced Toolbar and use the
Field CHooser). Now each person can have their Name as a Category. You can
Group or Arrange by Category etc to see who is working on each email.

http://judygleeson.com/categories.aspx will help you a bit if you have never
used Categories. To Categorise an email in the Inbox, right click on it and
use the Categories button.
