Flag items in public folders

My company just made a move to use public folders. However, I am already
using flags extensively. I would like to know if it is possible to get items
that you flagged in public folders to appear in a search folder. They
definitely do not appear in the "For Follow Up" standard search folder.
 
Public folders don't support search folders. Search folders can only search
within one store (mailbox, PST, OST), not across stores. And no search
folder can be created for a public folder since the public folders store
provider doesn't support them.
