"flag for me" greyed

In my OL'07, for some reason the 'flag for me' option under the 'flag for
recipient' option on a new message, is grayed out. I know that I have
recently used it for some message, so not sure why now it's not giving me the
option.

any ideas?

yes, but then I've not ever had that, and am pretty sure it worked one time.
