flag color grayed out

We installed office 2003, but when opening a new mail
message, click the flag for follow up button, the flag
color button is grayed out. All of us are having the same
problem at work. Could anyone tell me if it's a feature
by design or something is not right? Do you see the same
thing in your office 2003?

it sounds like you might have a policy enabled since it affects everyone. if
you right click on the message in the message list is it also grayed out?

No,when right click on a message in the mailbox, the
follow up flag colors are not grayed out. Actually, flag
color grays out only happens in a new message( when trying
to flag the new message for follow up. )
We do have network (Novell) policies enabled. but I asked
my boss, he checked the policies and didn't see anything
about follow up flags.
