Fix:Send to/Mail Recipient (as attachment) error in word

Error: "Operation failed due to network or other communication
problems. Check your connections and try again." Err msg after
attempting to File/Send to ... as Mail Recipient (as attachment) in an
Office App

Or
Error: "Interface not Registered" if you go to File/Send to... Mail
Recipient

This fix works for Corprate verions of Outlook.

Here is a fix I found that worked like a charm.
I don't know why but it works.

Turn on offline folders in Outlook
Make sure cached mode is checked

Then try to send as an attatchment in word.

outlook can be open or closed.

We just had this same thing start happening in my company and finally
figured out that turning on cached mode fixes it.

Any idea what caused the problem in the first place? It just seemed to
start happening two weeks ago, so we suspected maybe a Windows Update
gone bad from Microsoft?
