Any idea's i am running avg at the moment

Hi Steve,

Do you have a third party firewall installed? If so, then the Windows
Firewall would be disabled by design to prevent conflicts.

Otherwise, start/run services.msc and scroll down the list to the Windows
Firewall. Double click it, then check the recovery tab. Set the first
failure to restart the service. Then on the first tab, set the startup type
to automatic. Try restarting the service. If it fails, try rebooting. You
are also going to need to ensure that the WMI service is also running, as
there is a dependency there.
