Firewall settings for admin users.

L

Lion

In the
Windows Firewall
Domain Profile I have set
Windows Firewall: Protect All network connection = Disable

In the
Windows Firewall
Standard Profile I have set
Windows Firewall: Protect All network connections = Enable

Which means if PC is plugged in to the Domain Firewall is OFF if users takes
the PC away from the domain Firewall is ON.

How can I give some of the admin users ability to change the firewall
settings as thy wish?

Kind regards.

Set
Windows Firewall: Allow local program exceptions
and
Windows Firewall: Allow local port exceptions

to Enabled

in whichever profile (Standard or Domain) that you want the PC's
administrators to be able to change things.

Then, an administrator will be able to add exceptions, but not turn the
firewall OFF or ON.
