firewall problems

Every time I try to run this spyware program, when I
reboot it shuts ogff my windows firewall and it won't
restart either. I end up doing a system restore to get
the firewall on again. Anyone know what is up with that
and how to fix it?

Yep--Clean again, to get rid of the spyware you just put back with SR, and
then use this KB article.

The fix is extremely simple with XP SP2. If you aren't at that level, you
might consider using a third-party utility--see the second link below:
