FIREWALL PROBLEM

Every time I shut down the computer the Windows Firewall is disabled. When I
start-up I have to go straight to Network Connections/ Firewall and switch
the firewall on. I have also used the Advanced tab and clicked Restore
default - thinking that the default would be to have the firewall
permanently on. None of these stops the firewall being switched off every
time I shut down. How do I ensure that the firewall is on all the time?

Windows Firewall is pretty useless anyway. I would NOT rely on it to
protect your computer.

I suggest installing another firewall instead.

I recommend ZoneAlarm Free Firewall:
