Firewall and Group Policy

Hello! I need help please. I'm trying to turn the firewall on, and it says
"For your security, some settings are controlled by Group Policy". I'm the
only user on my computer, and so I'm the "administrator" of my computer.
It's on a home network with a Linksys router and another computer. The other
computer's Firewall is Turned on. I need to disable all "Group Policy"
settings so I can turn the Firewall back on. Can someone help with this?
I've looked and looked and can't find it anywhere. Thank you VERY much for
your time in your response!!!!!!

Thank you for your help!! It worked, however each time I restart my
computer, it goes back to the way it was. I also just did a reformat of my
hard drive and the computer is all up to date and what not so it's like a
brand new computer. Any further thoughts would be very much
appreciated!!!!!!!

Did you check the Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc) method in the article?
