Firefox error.

It seems that IE "grabs" the "default" constantly. Has anyone any idea
how I can get to never see the following error again please ?

In other words I either want to stop IE from grabbing the default
(other than to never use it) or have Firefox set itself as the
"default" every time I open it and it isn't the "default" already.

You could try changing it in Program Access and defaults, available
through your start menu or control panel/add remove programs

uncheck "Internet Explorer should check to see whether it is the default
browser"

if it is the default browser when starting".

Thanks, that looks like info to set Firefox as the default browser.
That however isn't my problem. I want to *keep it as the default
browser*. If I set it as the default browser on Monday I don't want
IE setting itself as the default Tuesday.

I have used setbrowser and it (correctly) shows Firefox as the
default.

Thanks. Yes, I already have that. It seems to set the default okay.
But it does nothing to keep it. Every time Firefox loses itself as the
default I need to manually re-set it as the default browser.

This constant re-setting is what I am trying to avoid.
