Firefox downloader

Is there a downloader extension for Firefox? The sort of thing I would
use it for is to download files that are links on a webpage. Typically
these might be large mov files. Currently, I have to right-click on the
link and select Copy Link Location. I then paste this link into LeechGet
to download the files. I'm wondering if Firefox has a utility so that I
can do it all in a oner.

There's an extension called FlashGot that can integrate Firefox with quite
a number of download managers. Haven't got a URL to hand but it's top of
the list of most popular extensions on the extensions page.

Thanks to those who supplied suggestions.
Combining FlashGot with

Free Download Manager

looks to be quite a good combination.

Have a look at WebCow:

<quote>
--------------------
2.1 What is Webcow ?
--------------------
Webcow is a small and handy tool to get the links out of directory
listings or webpages. It was first created to get all files of an
Apache* directory listing. Within the development, I was asked for
publishing and improvements, some errorfixing options and file-filters
were added.

----------------
2.2 Why Webcow ?
----------------
It really saves your time :). Instead of clicking each link on a page
from top to the button or 'rightclick save as' or whatever, Webcow
just does it. I use it for all my personal needs.

The following features are supported by Webcow:
- http, https, password protected sites & ftp
- http redirects
- selectable user-agent
- referer (the get-textbox is used for this)
- proxy settings (taken from windows internet settings or your own
settings)
- cookies
- export to download manager via clipboard or file like NetVampire or
DAP.
- integration into internet explorer context-menu.
- much more

Have fun, Fred

Free Download Manager works with Firefox without the extension. Unlike
IE, when you click on a download link with Firefox, it brings you to a
web page screen that says "file transfered to free download manager".
Mark, do you get this web page screen when when you use the FlashGot
extension?

Well, I installed FlashGot and Free Download Manager. Now I can
right-click a link, and there's a menu item called FlashGot Link that
appears. Selecting this causes the Free Download Manager to appear, with
the link in the URL edit box. I can click the OK button, which starts
the download.

So it's pretty much what I wanted.

downTHEMall is a great in-program downloader. Not as robust as a full
download manager, but good for getting links from pages. I love it.
