I was driving about sarf east London today when I became aware of what I first thought was a low lying storm cloud. As I travelled further it soon became apparent the cloud was man made.

When I realised the large smoke cloud was originating from what looked to be the centre of London, my blood ran cold and I immediately thought there had been another terrorist attack.

But, twas just a fire, apparently, here's a few pix I took from Kidbrooke and Blackheath:

Wow Flops - that must have been quite some blaze, no wonder you thought the worst

That's a massive plume of smoke Hopefully no-one was injured.

Looking at where the fire was I'm going to bet it was an insurance job . Why bother paying someone to pull it down when you burn it and get paid . Bet its owned by a mason or a gangsta .
