Fingerprint reader

I have installed a new MS keyboard that comes with a fingerprint reader and
when I go to unlock the computer it blue screens. Has anyone else had
similar problems? I'll post more details later depending on the feedback I
get.

The "bluescreen" has a text error message that can be used to diagnose
the cause.
