Finding Sent Mail in Archives

I use auto archive and always say Yes when asked to archive. Want to find an
e-mail message I sent that is older than what is currently on the 'Send' tab
folder. How do I access the archive for sent mail?
 
File | Open | Outlook Data File -- point to the archive .pst file, then it
will become available in the folder list
