hi

i was trying to clean up my computer and i deleted a program i didn't
recognize. unfortunately my skype and messenger calling programs haven't
worked since. i tried to reinstall the program but i think i accidentally
deleted my recycle bin and can't find it or the program anywhere. i am now
unable to log onto skype and think this is related. if anyone can help me i'd
be very grateful.

I'm not sure what the Recycle Bin has to do with this. Just download the
Skype and Messenger programs from their respective websites and reinstall
the programs.

If you've accidentally deleted the Recycle Bin (a common occurrence in Vista
due to the poor gui design), here's how to get it back and prevent the
deletion in future, all from MVP Ramesh:

Your Recycle Bin can be reactivated by right clicking the desktop, go to
Personalize, in the left pane, click Change desktop icons, and check the
Recycle Bin mark, and click ok. Your recycle bin is back on the desktop!

As far as Skpye is concerned, you might try reinstalling Skype and see if
that fixes everything (you will still have your number and all that the
same).
