finding missing file

Hello:

reinstalled winxp home version and when i try to install my printer HP
710/12c, it stops mid-way and tells me that "HPVDJ50.ini is missing. I am
guessing this is on the win cd??? how do i locate this file and add to win
folders to complete my printer install?

You probably have a CD that came with the printer. Use that CD and install your printer.
