Finding attachments is slow

I have a problem on my laptop whereby if I wish to attach
a file, I click on the paperclip and it takes ages for
the drives to come up. Once the drives come up I then
choose a folder and this takes ages to open, and then the
same again for the next folder. I am using Office XP with
Windows XP profssesional. Any ideas?

Make sure there are no unreachable mapped network drives visible in
Explorer.

In addition clear your Internet History and try again.
