Find/Replace Wildcards

I have noticed that often your replies include wildcards, such as ^13
(Paragraph Marks?) I have obviously used the Special Listing in the Replace
Dialog box but is there a concise listing somewhere, with handy hints as to
the correct syntax is?

Many thanks

^13 is simply a coding for character 13 (paragraph), not a wildcard. You can
get a list of such specialties by clicking the More button, then Special.
Note that the list is different if you check the 'Use Wildcards' checkbox.
'Wildcards' -- in this context-- is actually a full (if slightly odd)
implementation of regular expressions, which is quite a large subject (it's
a formal mathematical approach to pattern matching). Google will give you
some reference sites..
