I am trying to do a find or replace on the charachter
created when Shift + Enter is inserted into a document.
When you reveal formatting it looks like a bent arrow
pointing to the left. Copy and paste into find does not
help. Anyone know how to enter this into the find/replace
search so it will find this charachter?
TIA
George

George,
In the dialogue "Search and replace" there is a button "More", click on it.
At the bottom of the window there is a button called special, in the list
you will find the item you are looking for.

OK, What is this character called? I can do a search for a
paragraph mark but not for a shift + enter mark. There is
a difference, reveal formatting and try it, its does not
seem to be a character that can be "found".

Manual line break.

Search for ^l (that's a lowercase L), which is the code for a manual line
break.
